I spoke to Joe Bedford for his Writers on Research blog about the ideas and influences behind the stories in Three Roads in a wide-ranging interview touching on history, mythology, time, change – and flowers! The full interview is available to read here, and the whole series makes inspiring reading.

Janet from the Love Books, Read Books blog very kindly reviewed both my 2018 novella Travelling in the Dark and Three Roads this month, as well as hosting a guest post about the writing of my short story collection.
LBRB guest post about Three Roads
It’s almost three months since Three Roads was published, and the next event is Life at the Crossroads, a talk and reading at the Penzance Litfest on 7 July, 11am – 12.30pm, St John’s Hall, Alverton St. The festival’s theme of Resilience ties in so well with the main theme of my stories – that change comes to us whether we want it to or not. I’ll be in discussion with Abigail Wyatt, who has kindly offered to interview me. Full details below.

Thank you, Emma, for including my blog. It was very kind of you to do such a wonderful guest post and I so enjoyed your writing in both books. Best wishes with the upcoming Penzance Lit Fest and your Life at the Crossroads event. Janet
Many thanks, Janet.
