In 2017, I’ll be co-editing a book of Cornish short stories with Felicity Notley. Felicity and I are very excited to have this opportunity to showcase the wonderful literary talent this county has to offer.
Cornish Short Stories: A Collection of Contemporary Cornish Writing will be published by The History Press in May 2018.
Submissions are now open and all the details you need are on our Cornish Short Stories website. You can also find us on Facebook and Twitter @CornishShorts

I’m very pleased to say I’m volunteering as a mentor for the WoMentoring project. This project offers free mentoring by professional literary women to talented up and coming female writers who would otherwise find it difficult to access similar opportunities.
This month, the Creative Writing Group will meet in the Meeting Room at Carnon Downs Village Hall on 1 and 8 December. From January to March 2017, the sessions will be lead by Felicity Notley. Felicity will also lead the session on 1 December. I’ll resume leading the group again in April 2017. More details here.
