From January to March 2017, Felicity Notley is running creative writing sessions at Carnon Downs on Saturday mornings. Details here. I’ll begin to run classes again on Thursday evenings from April 2017. Please contact me if you’d like me to let you know when the classes resume.

I’m very pleased to say I’m volunteering as a mentor for the WoMentoring project. This project offers free mentoring by professional literary women to talented up and coming female writers who would otherwise find it difficult to access similar opportunities.wm

This month, the Creative Writing Group will meet in the Meeting Room at Carnon Downs Village Hall on 1 and 8 December. From January to March 2017, the sessions will be lead by Felicity Notley. Felicity will also lead the session on 1 December. I’ll resume leading the group again in April 2017. More details here.

 

 

 

November 2016

I’m thrilled to be taking part in two events at the Looe Literary Festival on Sunday 13 November. In the morning, I’m running a workshop exploring character from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Truly Scrumptious, Higher Market Street, East Looe PL13 1BW. £10; book here .

untitledIn the afternoon, I’m giving a talk from 4 to 5pm at the Black Swan, Fore Street, East Looe, PL13 1DT. Free. The talk focuses on one of my stories which was inspired by Anne Estelle Rice’s portrait of Katherine Mansfield painted in Looe in June 1918.

This month, the Creative Writing Group at Carnon Downs will meet on 3, 10, 17 and 24 November, 6.45 to 8.45pm in the Meeting Room, Carnon Downs Village Hall.
