During July, I’ve been busy organising four events for Telltales. I’ll be reading my story, Painting Katherine, during the Telltales set at Port Eliot Literary Festival on Friday 31 July, 10am in The Round Room.
My short story, Flowers, has been long-listed for the Bristol Short Story Prize.
The Audiotor project, Minions Lament, an immersive narrative walk, is now launched. Free wi-fi is available at Minions, on Bodmin Moor, to download the app; headphones can be purchased from the Minions Post Office, Shop and Tea Rooms. The chapters are delivered by GPS at certain points along a circular walking route which starts at The Hurlers stone circles before visiting the Cheesewring and Golddiggins Quarry. Visit the Audiotor website for a map and further information.
The story I wrote for this project is based on a real incident concerning an American airman whose plane crashed on Sharptor one foggy night during World War 2.
