Submissions for Botanical Short Stories closed on 10 February 2023. Sincere thanks to everyone who submitted their work. I am very pleased to be reading your stories.
My gratitude to the many writers who have shared their enthusiasm about the prospect of a short story anthology about flowers and plants. It is much appreciated, and I am happy that the theme has prompted pieces which might not have been written otherwise.
I’ll be working on the anthology over the next few months alongside highly talented botanical illustrator Sarah Jane Humphrey. Botanical Short Stories will be published by The History Press in spring 2024.
Other news is that the Cornwall AONB anthology has been accepted for publication by Hermitage Press, a new publisher for work by Cornwall-based writers.
